About Us

Hoping your family loves every minute of your time in Thailand!

Our family has been so blessed to have traveled to more than 15 countries already:
Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Laos, Thailand, Japan, Haiti, the Bahamas, France, Italy, Spain, Greece, Belgium, England, and all over the USA. And we’ve actually been living in Thailand for the past 15+ years, traveling all over with our 3 little girls. This is why our blog’s purpose is to share our own experiences to help you better plan an incredible family trip to Thailand and beyond!

We understand all too well that traveling as a family is not always easy. Taking a trip with kids means lots of extra planning and research.

We too have made a lot of mistakes along the way, and we’ve learned some valuable lessons.  That’s why our goal of this blog is to share our family travel experiences with you — both the good and the bad.

We hope in sharing our own stories, travel tips, family-friendly hotel suggestions, kid-friendly activities, and sample itineraries  will help your family to have an even better travel experience than even we had!

And even if everything doesn’t go according to plan in the end, the memories you make as a family will last a lifetime!

Best things for families to do in Bangkok : try a Thai style shaved ice at Ban Yen and play dress up in front of their murals

Hey there, I'm Brittany!
I'm a Southern girl by roots, a coffee enthusiast by day, and a foodie at heart. I enjoy taking on a good Fixer Upper especially if I can add a splash of Modern Farmhouse.

I love the Lord, adore my husband, and try to be my girl's biggest cheerleader. I suffer from Hoshimotos and also a bit of wanderlust, but I thrive on planning our family adventures -- I guess that Bachelor of Science degree in 'Event Planning' (aka ORCO) has actually come in handy!

Why Thailand

Family Travel to Thailand with Kids : Travel is Dessert

Thailand just so happened to be my first global adventure, and I immediately fell in love with the friendly smiles, flavorful food, and fascinating culture.   After leaving, I couldn't wait to get back! So as a freshmen in college, my most logical way back to the 'Land of Smiles' was via a study abroad through Bangkok University. It was here that I also got involved with a local church, helped volunteer in the community, and ended up falling in love with my most favorite person ever, Witt Kaminh.

Our Family

Best Resort in Thailand for Families : Maldives Beach Resort

Witt and I got married back in my hometown in 2008 and settled nicely into life in Sweet Home Tennessee. But by 2012, the Lord was calling us back to where our love story began: Thailand!

So I quit my job as a Preschool Director, Witt closed his successful renovation business, and we sold our house and everything we owned to put our 'YES on the table' to this new adventure!

A bit later our 3 little girls came along: Elsie, Ayvah, and Livvy. Now, it's icing on the cake to be on these adventures together!
